Hawkers Food

After walking through numerous shopping malls and green tree lined streets, we finally stumbled across a hawkers market where all the locals eat. The food is cheap and there is no one trying to drag you into their stall. There must have been over 100 stalls serving a variety of foods, and just about all of them were undertaking a ripping trade. We ordered a serve of roast duck and rice from one stall holder, and freshly made popiah from another. To wash it down we sampled a freshly squeezed pure cane sugar juice with a slice of lemon. I could easily eat lunch here every day. The popiah was awesome, more please.
